The only way
(except by your own boat) to arrive to the island is by a
ferry-boat of the Maritime Agency JADROLINIJA or by
hydrofoils of the SEM MARITIME Agency from Split.
If you come
from Split and have a car, you must use the Jadrolinija
ferry-boats.

The voyage by a ferry-boat from Split lasts for two hours. It
isn't possible to make a ticket reservation for the ferry in
advance, it is bought in the agencies of Jadrolinija before
departure.As the time-table of the ferry-boats varies several
times in different periods during the season, we advise you to
check the time-table on time.

without a car, you may use a hydrofoil of SEM Maritime
Company.

Every day from Split to Vis at 18.00.
The return from Vis is always at the same time:
7 o'clock a.m.
On Fridays the hydrofoil goes
from Split at
20.00
The price
for the hydrofoil is
26,00 kune.
The voyage
by hydrofoil lasts for one hour and thirty minutes. The
tickets are bought aboard the boat or at a kiosk in front of
the hydrofoil if you depart from Split. You can find more
